Some of you may have heard of the horrendous hail storm that we had in Dallas yesterday.
Although my sis and I only live a few miles from each other, her neighborhood got hail while mine didn't.
It's true what they say…. hail really can be
the size of a golf ball!
Her beautiful, almost brand-new car got whacked HARD.
So did her house.
Because it sounded like the house was being bombed, my sister's cat Chester ran OUT the cat door, mistakenly thinking he could get away from the destruction.
He hasn't been seen since.
If you happen to live in the Lakewood area of Dallas and see a confused yellow tabby wandering around, please let me know ASAP.
He's needed at home.

UPDATE: CHESTER IS BACK!!!
CALL OFF THE SEARCH.
After looking frantically for most of the day, my sister just called to say that Chester has finally appeared, apparently unscathed. When she first saw him, she thought that she was hallucinating. She had been searching high and low for him everywhere, traipsing up and down alleys, looking under fallen branches and inside garages. She had just about given up when he casually strolled onto her deck and began taking a sunbath.
His bored expression said it all:
"Much ado about nothing."

Wow! I'm in Richardson; and none of it hit on this side. It got really dark, with a few flashes of lightening...and nothing. Amazing to see the footage on the news and to see all of the damage, just mere miles down 75. Hope your sister's cat returns!

ReplyDeleteWow! That's crazy sized hail and it sure did a lot of damage. We have hail every once in a very long while but never that big. We actually had a few seconds of hail last Saturday but it was not even the size of a pea. I'm glad Chester is home. Scary!
