It's a poorly kept secret that I love reality shows. I know, it's shameful, but I don't think that anything can beat a good table flip...
One of my favorite shows is "My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding." In fact, when I wrote a post a few months ago about tacky weddings (see HERE), I used several photos from this extraordinary show:
So you can imagine my surprise and delight when I discovered that a new reality show is premiering on Sunday, February 10. It's entitled "Gypsy Sisters" and it's on TLC:
One of these women is thirty-eight, has nine children and two grandchildren (named Demi and Ashton). Another girl is a pole dancer at the Pink Pony; she's the black sheep of the family because she's not following in the traditional role of the gypsy woman: marriage at fifteen followed by having babies…lots of babies. Another's mother has just gotten out of prison. (I won't tell you any more because I don't want to spoil the two-hour season premiere.)
Suffice it to say that while most of you will be watching stuffy old "Downton Abbey" on Sunday night, I'll be watching my new favorite show.
