Merry Christmas, y'all!  I've been out of commission for a bit but am ready to get back into the swing of things SOON.

In the meantime, I'm joining Scot over at The Adventures of Tartanscot.  Come visit!

    1. Alison - I bought the ribbon about five years ago from a florist. I've never seen any like it since. Not only is it wide, I think it's silk. I bought some polyester this year which I'll use to decorate my Welsh Dresser. Hopefully that will be my next post!

  4. I just found you from the Polo House comments. I've been looking back thru your posts and you're definitely someone I want to know. My fave post so far is the one on tacky wedding pics. Hilarious!! I'm your latest follower.

    1. Debra - I think that everyone got a kick out of my "Tacky Weddings" post. It's hard to believe that some people out there really do those sorts of things in their weddings. Oh dear….

Thanks for following my blog. I need all the followers I can get!

    1. Tina - Thank you so much! I think I'll send in a pic of it to your blog, since we've been invited to do so.

Happy Birthday on Friday. Your friend's house is stupendously gorgeous and what a lovely party she had for you. It's obvious that you have many wonderful friends. BTW, I love the table setting with the tartan napkins and your great pewter napkin rings. Perfect.

      Merry Christmas!

    1. Thanks, Katie. I need to take a trip up to McKinney because I've heard that there are some nice antique stores on the square. Just my cup of tea. Thanks for visiting!

  7. Jewels - Thank you for the nice compliments. Stop by for a glass of wine and we'll sit on the back porch in the 80 degree weather and dream about having a white Christmas!
