I Can't Live Without...

Susan at Between Naps on the Porch is having an impromptu linky party this weekend entitled "20+ Products I Can't Live Without."  She's invited all of us to share what we can't live without also.

I've been trying to think of what I can't live without and honestly, my list isn't very exciting.  I'm thinking remote controls, ice makers, garage door and gate openers, and the like.  The common thread seems to be electronic devices that enable me to do the least amount of physical exertion as possible.  Several years ago my mother bought a battery-operated flour sifter for me.  It was a cute little gadget that I used until it finally wore out.  But I didn't replace it because, let's be honest here, does anyone REALLY need an electronic flour sifter?  I think not.
But I digress.  I hesitate to make a list of things I can't live without.  Let's not be too dramatic here; I think I can live without most things (except the dishwasher and central air conditioning.)  If I had to choose amongst the things that make my life easier, however, I would have to zero in on coffee and its accoutrements.

Although I don't have a fancy espresso machine like this, I do enjoy my Mr. Coffee.  It's my best friend every morning.

I love my milk steamer.  That froth adds just the right touch, especially when it's made with half & half.

For some reason, my coffee tastes better when I'm drinking it out of a Starbuck's mug...

with a biscotti (or two).

My husband bought a $10 one, literally,

us through until we have time to go get a
new one!!! Thanks for these inspirations!
